2tb SSD only showing 465 gigs as full amount

So I just purchased a 2tb seagate SSD and I plugged it in, formated, I've tried everything else I could think of and I could not find anything on the internet, but my SSD is 2tb yet formated and everything it only shows 465gigs

It's a series s and the ssd is a Seagate back up plus slim it is USB 3.0

you should return it since it's obviously defective

People are actually considering spending huge amount of money foe small SSD hard drives so they gain a couple of seconds loading a game? really?

Wouldn't it just be better to buy a really big 7200rpm drive and be done with it? as the post above shows a good 7200rpm drive is much quicker than the stock one, and only marginally slower than a much smaller SSD.

I suppose people can spend what they want, their money after all, but for me, I would rather have a 2TB hard drive than a 500Gig SSD.

Also the S will only have a 512 gig ssd where the X will have a1 terabyte ssd.
