2nd Xbox One X Has Died

As the Subject says I'm having to return the Xbox One X that Microsoft sent me to replace the one that died just before Christmas.

Went through the walkthrough on the website, even went as far as doing the Factory Reset using the download on a USB and still nothing.

As you can imagine I’m a little dismayed that I have had another Xbox One X die on me.

Having been a Microsoft Customer, long enough too have had at least 5 Xbox 360’s Red Ring of Death on me, it is all the more upsetting that my Worlds Most Powerful console can’t get through a whole month before needing to be returned.

I still love Xbox and would never move to Sony but for 1 to die after less then a month of use, fair enough, for a 2nd to die in less then a month of use makes me think again ☹

My daughters are just as dismayed as my eldest had been getting into the Skyrim Enhanced Edition and my youngest loved flying Tie Fighters in Battlefront II.

Now I know the Xbox One X is still in warranty so I have not lost out monetary wise but part of me thinks it would be better to be down in money then have to see my youngest look of disappointment that she can’t kill any Rebel Scum because the Xbox died
again.

I was considering getting the Xbox Game Pass, especially since the announcement that First Party Games would be free, so looking forward to State of Decay 2 and the girls are looking forward to Sea of Thieves.

x box live account

hi all,

after some help, my son has a x box live gold account, unfortuantely his xbox died yesterday i have got him a new one but i dont know how to transfer his old x box live account to new xbox.

Iz true. There is a 2nd xbox one x hidden in the xbox one x. So iz double brutal you know. Hniaaaaagh. Get to the chopppa naaaooow.

Simce it is out of warranty then, i would contact support & seehow much it would cost to fix it.

Out of warranty by a month during a pandemic. Microsoft is a billion dollar company but it is okay they manufacture cheap products that fail with no repercussions. This is crazy.

Hello, we sorry to hear about the issue and any frustrations this may have caused. No matters the console it is out of warranty it can be fixed, you should still be able to book it in for repair, and they should replace it. You will have to
pay though if the console is out of warranty.
