2nd Xbox 360, digital purchases question with xbox live account

I'm getting a 2nd xbox 360 console for another room so the kids can play other games while I play my games.. If I load my profile onto both systems and also load my kids profiles as well.. Can my kids play the games purchased under my xbox live account
console on the secondary one? Granted that I will only be logged onto one console as the other is signed onto a different name..

If not, is their an option for family accounts so this will not be blocked?

Any input is appreciated..

Do you need to purchase a 2nd xbox live account for a 2nd system?

My oldest son has an xbox one and a Gold membership. My 2nd son has an xbox 360 on a 2nd tv. Do I need to purchase a 2nd xbox live subscription for my 2nd son, or can he use the same account and Gold membership as my oldest? Thanks!

When you purchase content it is tied to the console it was purchased on as well as the gamertag it was purchased with. The console license is what allows your kids to be able to access the content from their profiles. If you perform a license transfer from
your account on the second console, it will move the licenses to that console so your kids can access the content from there. You will still be able to use the content on your console as long as you are signed into Live, but they will no longer be able to
access the content from that console.

you don't need a new Live Gold for the 2nd Xbox

simply make it the Home Xbox for the account that has Gold and purchased the digital games and anyone can sign in with their own account and make use of them while the account that has Gold is signed in on the other Xbox

To summarize my situation

Purchased digital copy for Xbox 360 = YES

Connected to xbox live account = YES

Have active Xbox live gold membership = YES

All under same account = YES

Waited 24-48 hours = YES

Tried to purchase on Xbox One signed into same account = YES

Yes, you can. All digital purchases are tied to your Microsoft Account, not the console. So make sure the account you use to purchase is the account you're going to use for your Xbox Live account. And then, any digital purchases you have you can play
on any console you sign in on.
