    2nd wired controller won't work in game.


    Hp pc trying to play split screen rocket league. Have 2 wired easysmx controllers. Both work independently. Both also sort of work simultaneously. The 2nd controller will work until we get in game. Says press start to join and nothing happens. Even tried with Xbox one wireless controller same thing been online hours trying to figure it out. Not sure if windows or game thing. Have tried both. Have also removed devices and reinstalled drivers. Made sure drivers up to date. Went into controller settings and nothing. Tested both controllers are working independently in the device manager. They are. Tried adding non steam game to steam to look at settings, epic games doesn't have controller menu have to go through steam. It would let me add epic games launcher to steam library but didn't give the option to choose specific games to add to library which was also odd. I'm lost and very frustrated.

    Xbox One controller broken by Windows Anniversary Update

    My 2nd gen and elite controllers only sort of work wired after using an older driver, and only in some games. My wireless dongle won't even let me pair at all anymore. Works fine on another computer with Windows 8.1. I basically have 4 expensive bricks
    at the moment. The lack of response on this issue is unacceptable.

    Unfortunately that means that it is out of warranty, but perhaps you could try exchanging it from the retailer that you purchased it. In my opinion, I don't think that repairing controllers is worth it and not knowing how servicing wired controllers works,
    I can only suggest the exchange or replacement. The only problems we tend to hear about here is regarding wireless controllers, which can be handled through support for service or replacement. The link for that in case you are interested is below, but I
    am not sure how they will handle a wired controller.

    Has the controller been dropped or abused in any way (even if it was accidental)? I am surprised that a wired controller has an issue other than stick drift.
