Or PS? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So if my research is correct, If I spend another $200 to buy ANOTHER Xbox One for my kid we can not use the same Live Gold account for it as the family...     So if my research is correct, If I spend another $200 to buy ANOTHER Xbox One for my kid we can not use the same Live Gold account for it as the family console we already have? We would instead have to get another, Love Gold and pay an additional monthly
    fee you know to connect to the internet and stuff. (Thank God they don't charge for computers to be able to connect to the internet)

    So my dilemma, if I am going to have to pay for another separate subscription any way rather than feeding the Microsoft greed, am i better off just getting him a PS so he has more game options?

    I saw this option. BUT as the parent the gold is under my name so then they're have to use my account in the second new box.

    It's pretty lame.

    Just add the new xbox into the family account and you won't have to pay for a 2nd Gold live subscription.

    You could add gold to your kid's account. Then they could set the family console as their Home and still be able to use the new console with their gold.

    PS also has a a service to purchase to play online.

    Agree with the above posts you can have gold on 2 xboxs. Also it eould be cheaper getting a second xbox as you could share games also be able to play online with each other too.

    no, you can use the same Live Gold on 2 Xboxes

    set the Xbox that will be used by everybody as the Home Xbox for the profile that has Live Gold and everyone who plays on it will have access to Live Gold and all the digital games purchased on that account.

    then whoever has the Live Gold can sign in on the other Xbox.
