    Hi, I want to ask if I had a 2k Tv with a resolution will I be able to play at 1440p or not? I mean select 1440p at setting because your know there is not an option for 2048 x 1080 and I don't want to play at 1080p

    1440 is only for 4K TVs. If you select a none supported resolution, you'll be faced with a black screen which can be reset by holding the power button and bind button on your Xbox.

    Hi,

    A resolution of 1080P is 1920x1080, while 1440P is 2560x1440. Since your display doesn't support 1440P, the highest resolution would be 1080P.

    To get 1440P would require a PC gaming monitor that supports that resolution.

    Not necessarily. If your particular Series S game runs at 1440P and you have the display set to 1440P @60Hz then it will look far better.
