if a code shows you that it is not active, it is best to wait 24 hours and try again and if it still shows the same you will have to contact the Store where the code was purchased, since they forgot to activate the code.

The 15000 points i got was from the reward offer. A separate offer was given through the Microsoft score which even shows in my purchase invoice as $10 dollar gife code offer

i have a somewhat similar problem i purchased a 15$ card then a week or so later i put a 25$ card on my xbox and it didnt add it to the 15 it says i only have 25 now

An Xbox Gift prepaid card should have 25 digits.
