24 hr communications ban has ended but game chat still unavailable

Discus and support 24 hr communications ban has ended but game chat still unavailable in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I was banned from all Xbox live communications for 24 hrs.     24 hr communications ban has ended but game chat still unavailable


    I was banned from all Xbox live communications for 24 hrs. The ban has since been completed. All my other communications seem to be working, I.e. messaging, party chat, etc.. However whenever I get on CoD the game chat ban is still active (microphone symbol with red x through it). I can’t hear or talk to anybody, it’s doesn’t even show people have mics or whether they are talking or not. I have tried all the ways to troubleshoot that i have seen in these forums but it still is not working. Please help!

    Yeah but you can try reinstalling it if it's just a particular game and refresh your console as well.
    Please Turn off console > (press and hold power button for 10 seconds) unplug everything from the console > wait for 2 minutes and plug everything back > Turn On the console.

    I have not, but wouldn’t i also have gotten some form of notification saying the game had also suspended my communication privileges?

    *Edit: Game chat seems to be working for Warzone just not Cold War specifically.

    Have you tried games other than COD? I asked because it could be an in game suspension if it happens with just a particular game.

    after the 24 hrs, 6 hrs after ban lifted, still cannot communicate via party chat.
