22TB External Drive Xbox Series X ?

Hey, i hope you are doing well

I have few external drive, and i want to ask if it's possible to use them as external drive with xbox series X or they will not work ? or there is a limite ?

what is max external drive can you use ? for exemple can i use 3x22TB Western Digital:

can i use full 22TB for each drive or not ?

for exemple in pc, i can use even 40TB without issue, so i wonder if it's same case with Xbox series X.

You can only connect up to a maximum of 3 HDDs through the console's USB ports, and they should not exceed 16 TB in size. You can find this information via the following link in the dropdown "Manage your storage":

Yes, you can only use 3 HDDs of up to 16 TB each, and you can connect them all at the same time to your console.

An external hard drive used on the One will work for the Series S/X, but won't have the exact same performance as the one created for the Series S/X.

Fair enough, a slow internet connection is as good excuse as any.

Be aware however that while that drive will work on Series X, you won't be able to play Series X games directly from it. Series X games will require faster access and read speeds. My understanding is that the Series X games can be 'backed up' on an external
drive and then need to copied/moved over to either the internal SSD or the External SSD's that will be available for the machine.

The Series X will read and play Xbox One games from an external drive though.
