200610 just installed. Started game. Tested 4K recording. After notification pop-up, One X...

My one X has a 1tb external HD formatted to NTFS connected to it for recording game play. The issue i have are as follows:

1. When selecting the external device as the DVR recording location no notification pops up stating i can record for 60 min (this appeared previously)
2. All options only show 30 seconds recording time
3. I did a test, selected 4k UHD (30 seconds) and started to record game play, when going in to stop the gameplay the clock was set to 60 minutes record time but this stops randomly on any given minute.
4. Watching the recording back on a Mac desktop it is not in 4k but 1080p 30fps.

I am assuming this is some sort of bug?, the one x is on the latest release and no updates are available.

Yes you're right. This is a bug. Microsoft implemented a temporary fix where clips that do not record in 4K will record in 1080p instead. The're working on it.

Yes it happens when you do clips faster after another.

They are already ion it because now there is a lil delay before it pops up the recorded notification.

I twill still record the following ones tho.

I think the notification pop- up problem is fixed because a while ago today, I play Zheroes and unlocked two achievements and I got the pop up notification. I though it was a fluke at first so I turn off my Xbox One and waited for an hour. After an hour
pasted, I started playing NS4 and I unlocked eight achievements with pop up notifications.

I don't know if this fix permanent or It just working today or it just working for my Xbox One, but think the problem with notification is finally over (until the next title update).

Hi, ever since I bought my Xbox One X, I could only use the “record that” feature to record for up to 2 minutes in 1080p and 30 seconds for 4k.

I was able to record for up to an hour in 4k if I used a compatible external drive.

The issue I’m having is that after the last update, 4K recording stops after 1-2 seconds. 1080p works fine.

I have done all troubleshooting steps that the others provided in this thread and I am grateful for the help but the issue still persists.

It doesn't pop up twice. Its the same notification pop-up, the text switches from Game clip recorded to what ever the achievement title was.
