$20 MS point code for digital purchase.

Though I prefer to own a physical copy of my games, I purchased the digital version of NBA2k14 on XboxOne to take advantage of an offer on my dashboard. If I remember correctly the deal was a $20 code for digital purchases over $50 (excluding DLC).
I recently received a code for only $5. Customer support was unable to help and directed me here. Is there a way to rectify this situation?

XBox Rewards

The Xbox live rewards program is awesome! I get 20 ms points a month (minimum), with an extra event every month to boost that. Payout is after 100 points, but it doesn't take long if you do other things (marketplace purchases, using specific apps). There is a bonus added now for those with high achievements that make marketplace purchases cheaper (or at least ms points back on every purchase). I would strongly recommend joining up, even if I can't get referrals! LOL

4200 Ms points card £39.99

so you can by 2100 ms points for £15 or 2400 for £20 lol and you can buy two 2100 for £30 or pay £40 for the same amout of points.

I wonder what genius worked the prices out for these lol

Bing can follow you around. No need to make two accounts. MS Points codes purchased with Bing Rewards points are not tied to the account that purchases the MS Points. I've given friends some of my 400 points codes. No issues.

Also as MS points are being ditched, I expect this will have an effect of improving the speed they get stuff on the store as its just a simple currency conversion now. BF3 premium in Australia and UK was terrible because they said it was 4000 MS points worldwide
which converted to Aus was $70 yet USA was $50 and at the time the Aus $ was worth more than US $. So price should have been the same or cheaper not $20 more. There is no tax on digital purchases or shipping costs.

If that does not work, are you sure the code was for the season pass and not simply a currency code worth £20? If the latter, it will have added £20 to your account and you will then need to go to the digital store and ''purchase" the season pass using that
currency.
