    2 xbox's and 2 kids, both want to play Elden Ring online multiplayer at the same time


    Hi - I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to achieve both of my kids being able to play Elden Ring online at the same time (so they can do online co-op).

    I have Xbox S and Xbox One. I have a game pass ultimate. I have bought Elden Ring (once).

    The Xbox One is my home console and I am logged into the Xbox S.

    Elden Ring is installed on both Xbox's and both my kids can each play it at the same time.

    However, they can't play online co-op together.

    Do I need to buy another Elden Ring or another Xbox Live Gold? Or do I just need to set things up differently?

    If I may ask, what is the error that you're getting whenever they're trying to play together?

    Also, do they have their own Xbox profile on both Xbox consoles?

    That’s perfect then. How about other not free games? Can they play together as well? We just need to isolate the issue.

    They both play Fortnite together online in multiplayer so I know those settings are all enabled

    Yep, they play plants vs zombies online together too.

    I'm starting to think this is an elden ring issue rather than an Xbox issue
