2 Xbox profiles linked to 1 Microsoft account.

Hello,

Currently having a massive headache over the fact that I seem to have two Xbox profiles connected to the same Microsoft account. I have never had an actual Xbox and use the profile for games on my PC. I have my main account which I remember creating and the one that also has all my games and things I've previously bought but then I also seem to have a different account that all of a sudden every game tries to connect to, the issue is there are no games on this account and I can't play anything. If I sign into my Microsoft account online and click 'Xbox Profile' it takes me to this new account with nothing on, but things like my Xbox app on my PC are still connected to my original main account. This has only become an issue as I've tried to re-login into Minecraft and the launcher is only letting me sign into this new account and which doesn't own Minecraft and not my original account, but both these accounts have the same email and the same password.

Been trying to figure this out all day and cannot find anyone with the same issue as me, any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

I was stressing out about this so much. I found out that my emails were the same, just one outlook and one gmail. Everything is sorted out and I'm okay now.

When was the last time you had access to your original account?

Please be informed that a single email address or a single Microsoft account will always have one Xbox profile or gamertag. It's not possible to have more than one Xbox profile in one single Microsoft account.

There two possible scenarios here. First, your original account may be linked to a different email address of yours. It may have a different spelling or domain which might be slightly identical to your current email. So I suggest that you check all your email addresses because one of them could have your correct Xbox profile. Second, it could be compromised or hacked by someone. They possibly removed your email address and replaced it with a new one letting you create a new account using your original email address. Kindly review your mailboxes to check for any confirmation emails regarding your account information change.

i have to xbox profiles o n one microsoft account because i have my original and i have one created on i different xbox and all my save data is on the original but i can only log onto my new accont on my new xbox

Hi there, the link to the error code seems dead. However looking at other forums seems to suggest the following:

1. Create a new Microsoft account (account#3).

2. Logon to the XBOX as the primary account (account#1). Switch the profile to the newly created account#3 from my primary account (account#1)

3. Logon to the XBOX as account#2 and switch this profile to my primary Microsoft account (account#1).

I'm I in the right park here? Also forums seem to suggest that you have to wait 30 days to be allowed to switch accounts, is this the case?
