2 Xbox one X's not syncing to each other using the same account

I have an xbox one X at my house and my child has an xbox one X at her moms. When we build/create or do modifications to worlds the boxes do not sync the worlds. Actually new worlds are not showing up at all. There is only one account we use and both boxes
have live gold accounts. How does the xbox cloud work? I see the game saving when we are playing...(arrow pointing into the box) I should say that it has worked about 5 times. But now it never syncs. I bought them both at the same time in 12/2019

That's really weird, I have the same thing with my friend and I never had this issue.

why does it, you cannot use the same account in 2 places, you can log in with a different account on pc then play at the same time, but for security and not to break the sync system you cant use the same account in 2 different places at the same time, same applies to most other services from other companies too.

Having the same issue. Both my computers are syncing up with each other as far as daily challenges completed and gold earned. I'm logged in on both computers with the same Xbox account. I've tried uninstall/reinstall/app updates. Nothing.

has more to do with your routers ability to route the traffic , if you have a gateway issued by your isp , it will be challenging or impossible , a stand alone modem and a router that does UPNP well (netgear works very well) is the best way to play together....
