2 versions of same 360 game wont play on xbox one but on backwards compatability list.

HELP. I can play many of my xbox 360 games and my xbox one games no problem but Borderlands 1 would not work. Checked online and many people said only the game of the year version will work. Bought a second version of the Borderlands 1 in game of the
year version and it still wont load. I get an error saying the game wont play here and error code 0x8082000c

I have tried a hard reset of the xbox one and tipping the machine slightly up at the front (??) as suggested online but still no further forward and annoyed that I have purchased the game twice and it still wont play but is on the backwards compatability
list. Both play on my old xbox 360 so not a disk problem.

Can anyone help??

Yes but that was the same version Halo 2. The 360 was backwards compatible.

Battlefield 4 on xbox one and 360 will be different versions of the game so you wont be able to play against each other.

Just tried my disc and it loaded fine. Just to double check - are you using the game disc or the expansions disc? With the goty edition you should get two disc.

Yes but that was the same version Halo 2. The 360 was backwards compatible.

If a game is not compatible with Xbox One, whether it's a digital or disc version, it cannot be played on the console. However, some Xbox 360 games are backward compatible with Xbox One, and you can check the list of backward compatible games on the Xbox website. If the game you purchased is on the list, you can download and play the digital version on your Xbox One.

Are you looking for the 360 version or the One version?

If it's the 360 version of the game, that game is not backwards compatible so it is not playable on the One. (You can see a list of backwards compatible games here.

Depends on which GTA game.

If it was GTA V, there is a 360 version and an Xbox One version. The 360 version is not backward compatible to be playable on an Xbox One. Unless the publisher was offering a deal at the time - purchase one version and receive the other, then no.

If it was GTA IV, that one is on the list of backward compatible games that are playable on an Xbox One.
