    2 separate accounts


    So my conundrum is thus: I have 2 separate Microsoft accounts. One of them I use for gaming and the other for mostly online rewards. If I delete the one for rewards, could I then use the email address attached to that one as an alias for the main gaming profile, as the email address used for that account is my primary email address

    Welcome to Xbox Community Forums. We appreciate for sharing your concern with us and we hope that you are doing well today.

    We understand that you wanted to delete one of your account from Microsoft and is asking if you can still use the alias link to that deleted account. Upon research, Once an account is deleted the alias is also deleted and can't be reused. It is simply wiped from the Microsoft system. This is from the Microsoft support site.

    • If you remove your alias from the account it’s on today, it will be deleted from our systems and isn't recoverable, so you'll no longer be able to use it to send or receive emails.
    • Microsoft doesn't recycle aliases once they are deleted. This means it won't be available again as an alias or new account to you or anyone else at a later time.

    Ok I can use my accounts now. Clearing cache fixed the profile errors for both. I still cant modify security info on my gold account for 30 days but I guess we ill cross that bridge when we get there.
