2 part Question

1) I tried about 15x to install destiny and it never worked for me. I tried hard resets, with and without Internet, 2 different discs etc and nothing worked so gamestop was nice enough to refund me. I was still able to play Madden and un/re install it.
My question is how much has this happened to you and did you try the digital download from the game store and have no problems?

2) if it happens on another disc should I assume my one is broken and send it in?

So you just want to redeem your prepaid Xbox Live subscription? All you need to do on your console is sign into the account you want to redeem it for, press the guide button, and scroll to the "Games and Apps" blade. Once
you do that, select "Redeem Code" & enter your 25-character prepaid code.

Sorry to hear about the issue. There are a couple of things you can try here.

1. If you have a disc version of the game and are still experiencing issues installing it then disconnect from the internet to install it.

2. If you would like to purchase the digital version of the game and have an Xbox 360 then purchase it on the 360 first as you can then upgrade to the Xbox One version of the game absolutely free until Jan 15.

 

I'm going for broke and trying it from the xbox online store. I tried doing the offline/online thing and it didn't work. Thanks for your answer though.
