    Years ago I created a MSFT live account for myself and son. So I am organizer, and he is a member under MSFT account settings. We can both login to our profiles on xbox one, and play split screen. I just installed a game on my pc, and invited him to join
    game from my pc, a popop on my screen say player1 invited you to a game. My son does see the invite popup on his xbox, but when we start the game, we cant hear each other voice.

    I have read article stating if you have 2 accounts like I have, we cant be playing "Online live" at same time. Only split screen

    So how do i remove him from family, have his profile be a separate- new profile so he does not loose all his 7 years of credits etc?

    Do I use this article? Just want to be sure if I remove him from family, he can still retain hi profile , settings etc.

    Family using xbox live on 3 xbox ones?

    You need at least 2 for 3 consoles. Unfortunately there is no family plan for Live.

    For exampled, you have accounts 1, 2, and 3 and consoles 1, 2, and 3

    Account 1 purchases Live and sets console 2 as their Home. Account 1 can then sign in and play online on console 1. Account 2 can then sign on and play console 2 without needing to purchase Live. Then account 3 purchases Live and can play on console 3.

    There is no possible way to merge 2 accounts. A GFWL account and an Xbox Live account are the same thing. Effectively, you have 2 "Window Live" accounts. This can not be changed.

    i have the same problem, but mine is a bit worse. somehow it has changed my live account with someone else's. so im on here trying 2 get help on another account which isnt mine. im not . my live account name is vampira209. i got on the pc
    2 reset password and everything was fine. then i tried 2 get on the xbox, and i couldnt. when i went on the pc again, it has me on as another live account. i'd rather not have 2 start over again with a new account.

    To sign up for an Xbox LIVE account associated with your Microsoft account, go to Join Xbox LIVE.

    Solution 2: Contact Xbox Support

    If you already have an Xbox LIVE account and you get this error, contact Xbox Support.
