    2 headsets on one Xbox


    Hi. We are a family of 4 with one Xbox live account. We all have a Gamertag profile. The 2 children want to play minecraft with their friends so we have got them a controller each and a headset with mic each. We have managed to assign a controller to each
    headset. They go onto split screen but only one headset is working. Is this because we only have one Xbox live account? Sorry if this sounds a bit dumb, we are Xbox newbies.

    I can understand your frustration with all the bad luck you have been having. And, for the record, I am not part of the Microsoft staff nor an Xbox customer support employee. But, I can say that we have 2 Xbox Ones and 1 Xbox One S, and 2 of the

    Xbox One Stereo Headsets    . And, both headsets work well, with and without the
    Stereo Headset Adapters    , on all our Xboxes.

    Thanks Jeremy the controller is a genuine xbox one with 2 ports underneath, one for the headset & one that looks like a hdmi slot. The headset is set to Windows sonic & the using hdmi or optical audio headset is switched off.
