2 Gamertags Showing?

Hi.
I recently changed by gamertag from “MeleeMango” to “”. My profile shows both gamertags for some reason. I contacted MS Support and was told it should go away within 24hrs. After a day, I contacted them again and was told it’ll defintely be gone
within 72hrs. After 72hrs, i contacted them again and all they said was wait until my Xbox updated — after having me remove my account from my Xbox multiple times. My Xbox has since updated and its been almost 2 weeks since I’ve changed my gamertag. Anyone
else ever experienced this? Pointers?

In-game it shows up as “”, as well as club posts from the Xbox App on my phone. Typically, everywhere else it shows up as “MeleeMango”.

Sorry if this is considered an “unnecessary bump”, but this issue still hasnt been fixed and I havent received any word/help from MS Support.

May I ask, Is the new gamertag appearing on it’s own as it should everywhere else? (party chat, messages etc.)

Also, are you seeing both gamertags showing across all devices or just on xbox one?

Try seeing if the change is updated, on your profile, through the xbox app.

It shouldn’t take this long to be properly adjusted, although it will update and be corrected eventually.

The only thing I can suggest now is to reinstall your profile and perform a hard reset, hopefully this helps.

I changed my gamertag 2 days ago and it's doing the same thing. on Xbox live friends list and in party chat it shows my old gamertag and on the Xbox app. On xboxlive.com it shows new gamertag

i have the some problem. i changed my gamertag awhile ago and now it shows 2 gamertags for me as well
