    2 Disc installation stopped (Red Dead Redemption 2)


    For the past several hours i have been trying to download Red Dead 2 and i have resorted to asking reddit. (hopefully you can help)

    (With the hard copy of Red Dead it comes with 2 separate discs)

    The first disc of the game downloads it to around 7% before telling me “installation stopped” the only solution that’s worked is to put in disc 2. Disc 2 carries on the download to 54% once it reaches that point it tells me “we need disc 1 to continue” So i put disc 1 in but it then doesn’t download telling me the installation has stopped.

    i’ve tried cleaning the disc, hard reset and changing the DNS but none have worked. please help

    I checked this for my and my brothers account and that is the result. Looks a little bit strange or? On My Account the Ultimate Edition is listed twice. I think this is not correct and on my brothers account ultimate edition is missing. Pre-Order Bonus is

    HELP NEEDED ASAP

    Are you sure that you purchased the full Red Dead Redemption 2 and not just the Red Dead Redemption 2: Story Mode. If you purchased the Story Mode, then you need to own Red Dead Online in order to play it. Story Mode is just DLC for Red Dead Online and cannot be played or installed without Red Dead Online.
