2 day suspension for sending gifs INCLUDED IN THE W10 XBOX APP

Please be advised that for enforcement actions there is a dedicated team that handles them which is the enforcement team. I’m sorry but the reason and all details are only available on your end.

The only best option is to have you file a case review if your account is eligible. Here's how:

Sign in and visit the Enforcement history page.

NOTE: If you’re a member of an Xbox family group, an organizer in your family group must sign in to their Microsoft account to review your enforcement details before they can submit a case review on your behalf.

If you’re an organizer of an Xbox family group, you can choose the Gamertag of the account that you’re reviewing under Viewing enforcement history. Under Enforcement history or Active suspensions, you may find active enforcement for your account or one that you’ve selected.

Choose an enforcement action to review more info about the cause and effect of the enforcement in the pop-up window.

If the enforcement action qualifies for case review, you can select Submit an appeal to receive more info from Xbox Safety.

After you’ve completed the form, select Submit.

NOTE: Xbox won’t tolerate abusive behavior. When you submit an appeal or reply to an agent’s request for additional info, don’t abuse or threaten Microsoft employees or post profane, bigoted, or otherwise provocative content. Case review inquiries are subject to the guidelines that are outlined within the Community Standards for Xbox. Disregarding these rules may result in the closure of your case review. Especially egregious violations may result in additional Xbox enforcement action.

If Microsoft Xbox has detected that the player who you were messaging with was asking for inappropriate content, he will also get suspended as that is a violation against the Xbox code of conduct.

Hi Richard! Not all suspensions are eligible for appeal, this includes short-duration suspensions. As you were only given 2-day suspension the best advice I can give is to wait the 2 days before accessing Xbox Live again.

Thanks for the info. The new update for the Xbox app on iOS is pretty nice too. You can click on links and send gifs.

Shouldn't do.

Just means you can't use party or in game chat,skype send messages & anything else communication related.

Communications Suspensions
Communication suspensions are imposed due to inappropriate conduct during communication activities on Xbox Live. This suspension blocks an account from accessing any communication features on Xbox Live, including text messages, voice messages, video communications,
Skype on Xbox One, in-game chat, and party chat. Communications suspensions are issued for a specified temporary duration, often of 1, 7, or 14 days.

During a communications suspension the account may continue to access the Xbox Live service, including online multiplayer. At the conclusion of the suspension all communication functionality will be automatically restored.
