    2 accounts issue - transferring xbox account?


    I have one microsoft account using a hotmail email address that is used only for my xbox gamertag/login. I never bother checking this email and it is not used anywhere else.

    Another microsoft account using a gmail account is used for basically everything else - login on my laptop, office subscriptions etc.

    In an ideal world i'd like to abandon the hotmail account and use the gmail for what it's used for now as well as the xbox gamertag. I've tried adding either account as an alias but it says the address is already in use (which makes sense). I've read in other places i should close one of the accounts, then add it as an alias (i think after 60 days?), but my worry is that if i close an account - in this case it would be the gmail account - what will happen to my laptop login, office subscriptions and the like?

    If you decide to close one of the accounts keep in mind that all the content associated to that account is going to be deleted

    Unfortunately any type of content transfer between Microsoft accounts can't be made for security reasons

    No. Nothing is transferable between accounts.

    There is no way to transfer those 2 types of account
    It would be best to get in touch with Xbox support
    And explain your problem, but you can not transfer those 2 types of account
