1TB expansion port issue, console being sent in for repairs.

HI'm sorry to hear you getting that Issue. If you are sure your cable in well known working one ,and Xbox , although , doesn't detect it , that indicates that your Ethernet port is faulty , and your console must be sent to Repair Center.

Call Xbox Support to send Console to repair

Yeah-the ethernet port on my Gears console went bad and I sent it in for repair but it was under warranty.It works ok now.

Thanks for the reply. I understand there is an issue with the Xbox HDMI port.

• If the console is out of warranty, we can service the console with a repair cost.
• If you open the console, the tamper seal will break. Microsoft will not service the console if it is sent in for repair.

It is a hardware issue. Sent my console in for repairs. They sent it back and the issue was resolved.

Are they replacing the console or simply repairing it?

I would get in touch with support and ask for a replacement console as you have sent it on three times and keep getting it back with the same recurring issue.

If they are replacing it. It must be your TV or HDMI cable that's providing some kind of feedback and blowing something in the HDMI port on the console.
