Discus and support 1440p Question in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I recently purchased a Lenovo 32-Inch QHD monitor (model: C32q-20 that supports 2550x1440 resolution).     I recently purchased a Lenovo 32-Inch QHD monitor (model: C32q-20 that supports 2550x1440 resolution). I am trying to connect my Xbox One S to it. Based on all information posted on this portal as well as after watching several YouTube videos, I go to General -> TV and Display Options -> Resolution pick list. It shows 640x480 (default selection), 720p, 1080p, and 1440p. However, when I pick anything other than the default, the screen goes black/blank for about 15-20 seconds and goes right back to the default 640x480 resolution. I have visited the Video Fidelity and Overscan menu option where I selected HDMI (removed auto-detect), but with no luck.

    I have tested the monitor and it does in fact display 2560x1440 when I connect to my Dell Latitude E7440 via the same HDMI cable.

    Question is: how do I have the Xbox One S retain the 1440p resolution?

    Let me know your thoughts soonest please!! Hope we can get this resolved with your assistance.

    Thank you for responding back so quickly. I tried all options but nothing seem to allow the monitor to retain the 1440p resolution!!

    By the way I might have made a mistake in my question. Obviously the full potential of the monitor is 1440p@144 hz but I am only looking for 1440p@120 hz

    Yeah, my bad - its 1440p/120hz OR 1080p/60hz with freesync .

    My question is - is it possible to turn on freesync 2 with this Agon monitor in 1440p/60hz on xbox one x?
