    I've been trying recently to have 1440p and 120hz together and it's just not working for me. I have the 'Dell S2719DGF' (gaming) monitor (great monitor BTW (except in this situation)). Specs: 1440p, 120hz, 1ms, FreeSync, etc. anyway, in my Xbox settings I have to use the HDMI Override to even select the refresh rate. I also can't change it manually with the monitor buttons. should I return this one and get another one, or should I try to figure this out with Xbox Support (by calling them)?

    Xbox doesn't have a 1440p 60FPS option; can't use 1080p or 1440p HDR on xbox

    I just tried to change it to 1440p 60hz, but it says this resolution isn't supported.

    1080p is available to me in 120hz or in 60hz

    4k is available to me in 120hz or in 60hz

    But,1440p is only available in 120hz?

    Xbox Series X doesn't support 1440p@120Hz with 1440p@144Hz monitor

    Until you don't proof me this specific monitor (Xiaomi Mi Curved 34) enables 1440p@120hz with Xbox Series X, your comment is meaningless.

    Yeah, there are some monitors with 1440p@120hz support for Xbox series s/x, that simply doesn't mean that ANY 1440p+ monitor with 120hz+ (especially 144hz+) can do it. Period.

    I've tried everything, that (1440p@120hz) simply doesn't work with that monitor. I've already listed every step I've tried, I'm not gonna write it again.

    Please read previous comments before posting the same dried comments...

    Xbox Series X 1440p Monitor

    I have checked the manual, it says it supports 1440p 120hz over hdmi the only thing it supports over display port is 1440p 165hz. So I will ask again why won't it let me set it manually hdmi then choose 1440p 120hz, but the option is available with auto detect. The monitor also supports VRR and free sync over hdmi.
