12 months of xbox live promo

My Xbox live membership is expiring soon, and I have a promo on my dashboard that states that I can get 12 months for $39.99. When I try to purchase is, however, the price is listed as $59.99. Is there any way to get it at the advertised price? Support sent
me here because they couldn't answer it.

Haven't received promo after calling customer service twice! (waiting over 2 months)

Promotion: Xbox LIVE 12 month gold membership, plus 1 extra month xbox live/ free game out of choices

Check MicrosoftStore.com, Amazon and Ebay. Microsoft has Stores for each major retailer online. If you can't find it for $30.00-$39.99 at one store check the other they rotate sales.... Here is a Insider tip to get Free Xbox Live for 1 year.. Go to Bing.com
and Sign up for Microsoft Rewards and also Xbox Rewards... All you have to do is click on the Trending News tiles on Bing.com and and collect 5 points every search 150 points per day on PC 100 per day Mobile plus they give bonus points... Do this 2-3 times
a week for 1 month and you can reedem your points for a 12 Month xbox live gold they also have 6,3 and 1 month.. Plus you can even redeem for Xbox gift card. $5 gift card is 4,600 points. $25$ gift card is 23,000 points. If you have family have them

@Gotthestones Sometime I will see this too and notice that the system that show on your dashboard promotions are often delayed due to some sort of tech issue with your network or missing update this can cause a delayed or the system didn't refresh so promotions
for xbox live or even sales and special are expired but youre still seeing the old promotion often I find that refreshing the dashboard by using Dashboard refresh button Left Trigger Right Trigger and Y button will refresh your dashboard for next time
if it is known promotion you can definitely check with xbox customer support to see if they can find any current promotion.

Date of Purchase: 31.01.2012

Promo Item(s); havnt recived the 800 MS points

yes it was a xbox dahboard promo, it is registered for 12 months, yes i have checked my emails and have found none including it.
