    12 month subscriptions are broken?


    I bought a 12 month subscription in Sept 2021 for Xbox Gold Live and it is not working and not near the 12 months. I tried to speak to someone but they were not helpful and could not speak english well so there was a huge language barrier. I need help getting this resolved. I paid for 12 months and coming from a large company as Microsoft, it is super concerning.

    I understand you're having problems redeeming your Xbox Live Gold 12 Month membership? Could you please confirm if you purchased this membership from a third-party vendor or directly from Microsoft?

    Can you please try to manually redeem your code at Microsoft account | Redeem your code or gift card and tell me any error codes or messages you receive in the event your membership is not successfully validated?

    There does not seem to be any issues with the Xbox services. You can check by going to Xbox Status | Xbox Support.

    Next, I would recommend contacting an Xbox Live Support Agent to look into your account and check the status of the code that you're trying to redeem. (See the steps below)

    You can still buy a 12 month subscription as a prepaid code. You just can't buy it straight from Xbox.
    This is the dumbest thing I've ever had to deal woth, as I've been a subscriber to Xbox live for a very long time, and now I cant even do an auto renew for the 12 month gold membership! So stupid!!!
