12 month GOLD upgrade trial to ultimate.....

Since Ultimate includes Gold and Game Pass, if you already have those when you buy Ultimate, even use at trial, it cancels what you have and upgrades it to Ultimate as well. So your last 12 month subscription would have been cancelled when you used that trial and converted to Ultimate. In order to go back to just standard Gold, you'd have to either cancel your current Ultimate subscription or turn off auto-renewal and wait on it to end and then add new Gold subscription. However, Microsoft has ended 12 month subscriptions, so it would no longer be possible to purchase a $60 per year Gold subscription. You can still buy a 12 month prepaid code from a retailer.

Wince they added the Gold before the Ultimate, it would gave upgraded the full 12 months to Ultimate.

If you had a regular Gold or Game Pass subscription when you purchased Ultimate, that subscription would have been upgraded to Ultimate as well. So for instance if you add a 12 month gold then purchase Ultimate, the gold is upgraded and you end up with
13 months of Ultimate.

You absolutely will . It happened to us . We only lost 2 months thiugh . They entice with a $1 trial , then take your gold awsy . They are scammers !!

check under your subscriptions under account on the xbox, you will see the next billing date which should be close to when ultimate runs out, you can cancel auto renew and when it passes just get gold again.
