12 month code won't go through

Just bought a 12 month code because my gold expires in 1 month but everytime I try to redeem the code it always gives me a something went wrong message. My current gold was payed with an old credit card that I deleted off my account. Maybe that has something
to do with it?

need help in redeeming a code please

The current prepaid 12 month membership expires March 2014. I got another 12 month membership off Amazon and when I go to enter the code i get a error message 0x80169CF9. Does the previous membership need to expire before adding a new one? Why won't
it take the code?

membership won't go through

My girlfriend spent $39.99 + tax on a 6-month Xbox Live Membership for my birthday and it doesn't work. It doesn't work, meaning it does not let me redeem it on xbox.com or on my Xbox One at ALL. The error code is,

I would like to know if I will get my live or if my girlfriend will get her money back.

If you change your credit card information while you're on a subscription, it does mess with your ability to add a prepaid card until your current subscription ends. So you'll have to let your month expire and then add the new card.

They removed the option to buy a 12 month subscription through Xbox over the summer. Anyone who had already purchased a 12 month and kept it going, would still get the yearly subscription. You can still buy yearly prepaid codes through retailers.

There is no word on if/when Microsoft will bring back 12 month subscriptions through them.

They quietly discontinued 12 month subscriptions through them a few years ago, but never stated why and only that 12 month prepaid codes would still be available.

There's not a 12 month subscription available. I've only seen 1 month subscription through Xbox, but there are 3-month prepaid codes available.
