    Mafia 3 being developed for next gen consoles.

    Eurogamer.cz has reported that 2K Czech is currently working on Mafia 3 for the next generation of consoles.



    The
    translated report     states that Mafia III was intended to be a PS4/Xbox 720 launch title but that is now unlikely. 2K Czech are currently in the process of hiring new staff after being hit with a round of layoffs last year.



    According to VG247 in March 2K Czech were rumoured to be helping Rockstar with the development of Grand Theft Auto 5, working on cutscenes
    and general gameplay.

    They're good although the first one was quite tough at times & from what I've seen the main character from Mafia II is in this new one.

    The second one was great, but like they mention in that video there wasn't much to do in the world. I will hold off getting excited until I hear that this one has a lot of fun things to do in the world besides the main storyline.

    I loved Mafia 2 and the fact there wasn't a lot of side missions or things to do meant I didn't get distracted and was more focused on the story which was engaging and fun.

    This is definitely a day one buy for me, it looks great.

    Didn't. watched this. new. gameplay. video.,yet....

    But. since the. announcement i'm. looking. after. it.....

    1- because it. seems to. be a. real open world game.(not. a 10 hours story driven game. with. a. large empty map)

    2- 1968.....
