100% Packet Loss - Weird Workaround

I just moved to a new apartment and got a new router and I have been getting 100% packet loss when I start my Xbox. When it first happened I was googling furiously and found a bit of information that ultimately didn't do anything, so I spent an hour on the phone with Linksys, the router manufacturer. We went through an hour and a half of troubleshooting and finally got it to work after a hard reset. After that the next day I was right back to 100% packet loss, and went back to google, toggled something, and tried again and suddenly I had perfect internet.

Since then I realized all I need to do is toggle a single setting on the wifi router and it goes from 100% packet loss to 0%. It doesn't even matter what setting I toggle, and I've just gotten into the habit of activating and deactivating the IPv6 firewall each time. Other toggles I've used are changing the MTU size, port forwarding and media prioritization, and again, it doesn't matter what I do, just that I do something, and suddenly it lets the internet traffic through. Any ideas on how to solve this? Or should I just buy a different router?

Router: I'm using a Linksys EA7430, and it works perfectly for the rest of my devices, it just doesn't play nice with the Xbox.

Internet: Spectrum - haven't had any other internet issues and when the router works I get great Xbox connections

    Xbox: Download - 230.07, Upload - 10.06, Packet Loss - 0%, MTU - 1480, Latency - 28 ms

    :)

100% Packet Loss - Weird Workaround

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

Apart from network congestion as the most common cause of packet loss on Xbox consoles, packet loss can also occur because of server-side leaks and improper configuration.

These are the Best Router for Gaming:

    - Netgear Nighthawk X6S (R8000P)

    - Asus ROG GS-AX3000

    - Linksys Hydra Pro

    - Nighthawk Pro Gaming Router (XR1000)

    - TP-Link AX6600 WiFi 6 Router (Archer AX90)

    - Netgear Orbi RBK752

    - Asus ROG Rapture GT-AX11000

    - Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000

    Hope this helps.

I am having a problem with this packet loss too. 100% packet loss

Is it possible to get packet loss that exceeds 100%?

100% packet loss is the maximum that is possible. However, occasionally it is possible that there may be a bug causing the packet loss to appear more than 100%, but this is uncommon. The maximum is 100%.

Is it possible to get packet loss that exceeds 100%?

"They have stated that if someone has 100% packet loss, they would have loss complete connection to the game, sever, etc. So I ask again, is it possible to exceed 100% packet loss?"

You would not have any connection to the internet, let alone XBLive, if packet loss is 100%. Connection relies on the ability of packets, information data blocks, for lack of a better term, to recognise and acknowledge the data has been sent and received
    correctly, ie no corruption.

Edit.. Data showing 100% packet loss has to be a result of local internal corruption of the processors, and would require a restart.
