Yes. You can designate the second console as your "home" xbox and anyone will be able to access your games on that console. Meanwhile you can be signed in and continue to play on your original console.

User 1 can download their content and use gold on any console they want as long as they are signed into Live. So they can leave the first console as their Home console so Users 2 and 3 can still use their content.

Do you have to assign the second console as home to someone (in our case user 2 or 3)?

When we turn it on the first time won't it ask who's machine it is?

And if User 1 is signed on and playing on the new console would it log people out playing on the old?

His account is account 1

Your console is console 2

Your profile is account 2

So account 2 buys the membership

And downloads the profile on both console 1 and 2

But makes console 1 home console

Account 2 downloads the game on both console 1-2

Now account 2 has to be signed in on console 2 online but can play offline on console 1 since its home conskle.

Accoint 1 can only use the game on console 1 but not console 2

Account 1 has to rely on account 2 to download gamepass games
