    40 minutes later and it now appears to be working fine, assume a glitch somewhere.

    Same here. Youtube and microsoft store works, all services seem to be up, but i have this error when trying to launch games.

    I would recommend a full power cycle of both your console as well as modem/router, this should hopefully resolve the issue.
