0x87e00196 AND 0x87e00017 errors when I try to install Flight Simulator for the first time.

Quick update.

I thought it was worth having a look in the Microsoft Store, and there indeed was Flight Simulator, and it knew I owned it.

I've clicked on the download button, and it seems it's happily cracking on. By now in the Xbox app it would have given an error.

Think that might be the answer - the store itself rather than through xbox.

I'll post again if it was installed successfully.

This problem occurred on 10/9 last time, and I also received 0x87e00017, I uninstalled my Xbox App and the problem resolved immediately, so I uninstalled Xbox App five times today. Obviously,0x87e00017 🙁

I don't know what I can do now, maybe buy Grounded on steam so that I won't suffer from this download problem.

I have performed the steps and they did not help as those steps were in another thread. I a m on windows 10 and I cannot update to windows 11. I am not in the insider program on this laptop. I have also tried again to repair all the Xbox apps and the store and I have a new error and cannot install anything. New error is 0x87e00196 and I have tried to sign out and resign in but no luck still. I guess the other error may have cleared but I am still trying to resolve this issue.
