    I am really frustrated with this error because I've tried everything to make my xbox compatible with it. I also changed the format to NTFS and it still doesn't work. I'm confused why a 32GB USB be "slow" when its asking for 3.0 GB or more. All im trying
    to do is set it as my capture location. I've already watched videos on how to fix . They showed that i have to reformat it on the xbox but it wont let me, I don't have that option for it. If this could be fixed please do it.

    I wanted to screen record my new Xbox One X. I just got a Samsung 16 GB USB 3.0. I plugged it into the console. When i navigated to Broadcast & capture in Prefences (in Settings), I set the capture location to 'External'. An error message popped up reading:

    'Try a different device

    To capture game clips and screenshots externally, storage must be USB 3.0 or faster. This device is too slow. (0x80bd003b)'

    My USB is USB 3.0. I tried searching the error code on the website but there were no results. Please help me.

    My Xbox is loading my uncles account but his account is expired. It wants me to restart it even though my account was the first one to be activated. I want to use my account but it won't let me do anything but restart.

    Thanks again. These are both original xboxes, not the S. I have a 120 on the main one and nothing on the second. Since it is the original Xbox, I can't use the USB in the way I wanted to (found that out today when I tried) because it won't let me do some
    updates and such on the USB.

    Looks like cloud storage for me and silver for them until they get a little older. They don't play online with others and we only have one Kinect.

    I really appreciate all the input. It's been very helpful.
