    0x8082000c, Can't play Xbox 360 Games


    Within the last week, I have started experiencing an error whenever I insert a backwards compatible Xbox 360 disc into my Xbox One console - This game isn't playable here. For a list of Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One, go to xbox.com/BackCompat. (0x8082000c). This occurs whether it is a game that I have previous installed or a new game that I haven't installed yet. I have never had any issue in the past with the console reading any discs.

    Both the disc is fine and the xbox drive. I am having this problem with ALL my 360 games.

    Hi,

    Verify that your consoles drive is functioning. Try playing a DVD movie disc, not a Blu-ray disc.

    If your console will not play DVD then the drive has hardware fault.

    There are two lasers in the blu-ray drive. One for reading DVD and Xbox 360 games and another for Xbox One and Blu-ray discs.

    Hi there Blumbling welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Please try the following steps!

    Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

    Settings.

    Select Network Settings.

    Select Advanced Settings.

    Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

    Select Clear.

    Allow the console to restart when prompted.

    I have now done a full reset of the console... it is still showing the error code.

    I've tried over ten xbox 360 games that ARE backwards compatible... none have worked.

    I'm now doing a full reset as I type this.
