    I have fixed error code 0x80080005, as it was an issue with my HDD. After booting it up without the HDD and its working, is it safe to plug the HDD in and continue operation with it, or should I duplicate the drive to another drive using a PC? (I used Iam/Pams response.)

    I have no drive with enough capacity to back it up to, in case of reformatting.

    It’s a 3.6 TB Seagate drive, and my largest computer drive is a 512 gb SSD.

    And no, I have not tried using a disk health checker, but I will soon.

    However, if needed, I will buy another hard drive.

    And if you're able to test the drive with a different PC, I suggest you to try that to see if you experience the same inconvenience

    May I know if you already tried verifying the disk health using a dedicated tool for this?

    I can recommend you to use Crystal Disk Info to verify this, but you can use the one you prefer. (No matter the one you want to use, make sure to download the tool from the official website)
    If the health is good I suggest you to do a backup of the files and then format the drive and see if the issue persists or not.
