0x80070005 When downloading gamepass games onto my D: Drive

Yes, I have tried the most common fix which was to rename WpSystem and WindowsApps and still doesnt work. Yes, I've tried removing, restarted each time I did that also already tried installing, uninstalling xbox and also resetting windows store. Also checked windows updates. Tried most of the fixes still doesn't work everytime I try to download a game into my D: Drive it just doesn't work lol it just downloads for a bit then errors 0x80070005. I can download games in my C: Drive but it has pretty much 0 space left lol. If I can't get this fixed I'm just cancelling my subscription right away lol.

Managed to fix it,

Things I did :

Reset windows, actually downgraded back to win 10.

This might be the one that fixed it though : I changed the location from D:/Games to D:/*new folder* just created a folder to test out if it would work and to my surprise it did. I also deleted WpSystem and WindowsApps.

When I tried to download it directly from the store I looked at my queue and the gamebar and a couple other game related assets needed to be updated, so I did that, then I installed gamepass ultimate for PC and now Gears 5 is downloading for me, a;so be
sure your windows is updated fully to the latest version.

Also make sure your drive has enough room, the store defaults to C:, which for me is my SSD drive, had to use the gamepass app to install it to D.

Is this the same app for the app for xbox gamepass? if so, how do you download it for the computer? I cannot have it install to my D drive for some reason. I have it in settings to default to my D but nothing happens and I cannot install it.

On your hard drive, there is a folder called ''WpSystem'', take ownership of the folder and rename it to ''WpSystem.old'', save and try downloading the game again.

If the problem persists, follow this path, delete everything from the folder, restart your PC and try downloading the game again.

Windows > serviceprofiles > networkservice > appdata > local>microsoft > windows > deliveryoptimisation > cache >

Renaming the folder worked for me so far so good. the download has continued.
