    Hello,

    I have been trying to install several games (last State Of Decay 2 and Minecraft Dungeons) and I still end up with this error 0x80040154.

    I followed many solutions that I could find on Microsoft forum and it does not work and I'm not alone.

    The ultimate solution I've always seen on these sites is to reinstall Windows. There, one should not exaggerate, reinstall an OS for a program which does not function correctly.

    Please could you find a solution because I will not continue to pay for a service that does not work.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

    In regards to this matter, this seems to have something to do with Window update errors.

    Have you confirmed that you Operating system [OS] is up-to-date?

    I would encourage you to take a look at
    this     article and see if you are able to retrieve a fix from following this wizard.

    Give this a try and let us know if this clears things up for you!

    Microsoft store crashes (fixed) on launch after using wsreset.exe i cleared data and cache on microsoft store and nothing works. and i get error 0x80070424 when downloading games. (FIXED COMPLETELY)

    Its done but i still get error 0x80040154

    Windows update in settings is still broken.
