    Two Issues with the new software update


    I have recently updated to the Alpha Version Xbox PC App on my Xbox ROG Ally X, and there are two minor bugs I have noticed right away and would like to report.

    1° The digital keyboard when browsing through the Xbox’s store and search bar doesn’t automatically pop up. I now have to manually pull up the keyboard from the settings’ option bar.

    2° Whenever I boot up a game, (From the Xbox or Steam) the game’s screen never pops up. I always need to manually press and hold the XBOX button to open up the windows, and select the game’s screen to get into it.

    Two minor issues with the new update that I’m sharing in here.

    Software Update issue

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    If that's the case, let's try to perform an offline update. To use the Offline System Update, you'll need:

    A Windows-based PC/Laptop with an Internet connection and a USB port

    A USB flash drive with a minimum 6 GB of space formatted as NTFS

    Community feed not updating

    I have the same issue as of yesterday 4/16. I have two xbox one x’s, at two different locations both are stuck on the same Activity Feed and not refreshing. Already tried hard resetting both and signed out and signed back in, and still no update on Activity
    Feed. Also did the new software update as of 4/17; and no refresh. Xbox App on my phone seems be ok though, able to see updated Activity Feed with uploaded clips

    My Xbox One controller keeps disconnecting even with a USB cable. What should I do??

    I'm wondering if there has been a software update to cause this. I started intermittently losing connection on a controller while playing. Tried resyncing, changing batteries, turning everything off again etc but it still kept on happening. Tried two old controllers and a brand new one and it's happening with those as well.

    Either the xbox x has an issue or its a software issue, as nothing else has changed in the household re interference and everything beforehand has been working for years.

    Upgrade dashboard, but solve the problems of the disc ?!!

    Dashboard upgrades are software updates and have nothing to do with the hardware issue of a new machine trying to read old discs
