Xbox App on PC is the worst!!!!!!!

Since the release of Warzone I am unable to play, every single time I open the app, I need to update CoD. Last night I went to sleep with a 120gb update, this morning I wake up to play, boom another 60GB update, if I try to cancel the update and remove warzone from the DLC, my whole game gets deleted. I'll never understand how a billion dollar company fails to deliver game updates for their most popular gaming products. Please fix update delivery, cancelling updates should not uninstall my game! We also want pre download functionality like battlenet, why is it so hard!?

    Can't Install Outer Worlds

It's the pc app that is causing the problems in the download is the day one patch even in it ? I seen similar issues with the Xbox One with missing updates the Microsoft store is actually the worst launcher I've ever used.

Xbox App on PC - Error code 0x800706b5 when installing games

I would really like to avoid resetting my PC as it would take probably the entire weekend to reinstall everything.

If that's the only recourse, then I may just go back to Steam and condemn the Xbox app as the worst game store/launcher. I should not have to reinstall Windows just to install apps.

    Media player app stoped working

Hi, understood. But these are basic media types which I would presume they should be supported by the Xbox. These play fine on the windows PC.

From what I gathered, if the movies can play on the PC, they should play on the Xbox?

Or perhaps, your team can recommend another media player app that I could use?

FYI, i also tried VLC player, but it was worst.

    hey

i can't help specificly on your problem, but the PC APP is in general pretty buggy sometimes. It's crazy that a billion dollar company can't provide a qualitative good app. The worst bug is when you can't start the games or load save stats.
