    I’ve been messing around with the new Xbox customization options and I’m curious to see what everyone else has done with theirs.
    I’ll admit it: I’ve always preferred the PlayStation 5 UI. I like the cleaner layout, the blue aesthetic, and the overall presentation. That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy my Series X, but I’ve always wished Xbox offered a little more flexibility when it came to customizing the dashboard.
    So I decided to see how close I could get my Series X to looking and feeling like a PS5.
    Here’s what I changed:
    Color theme: Switched everything over to an electric blue aesthetic.
    Dashboard: Cleaned up the home screen to give it a more minimal, PS5-inspired appearance.
    Background: Went with a darker, cleaner look to complement the blue accents.
    Layout: Prioritized my games and made the dashboard feel less cluttered.
    Overall theme: Tried to recreate that PlayStation-style look while keeping the Xbox functionality.
    It’s obviously still an Xbox, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
    I’m curious:
    What have you guys done with your Xbox dashboards since the update?
    Has anyone else tried recreating the PS5 UI as closely as possible?
    Any customization tricks, themes, backgrounds, or settings I might have missed?
    I’d love to see what everyone has come up with. Feel free to share screenshots!

    ah *** seems to have been removed by Microsoft. now I have to wait like everyone else lol

    Update #2: There was a slight miscommunication regarding the day one update. A Microsoft spokesperson has stepped in and provided a statement on the matter.

    The site was not an alternative way to take the Day One update and customers still need to connect to Xbox Live for the update. Because of the complexity of this customer support process we’ve actually removed the page and we will work with customers directly
    to make sure they have a smooth experience.

    And you have the same problem as everyone else? You're a Time Warner customer? How does tethering make it so that you are no longer a Time Warner customer? Don't understand how that could work.

    Hi joel,

    Not sure like I said it could be intentional. Fallout 76 has updated 3 times since I owned it and every time it has reinstalled the full game. It could be something developers are trying out to make it smoother. Know a lot of times when games update can
    cause corruption.

    If I hear different or anyone else we will post on here to let you and everyone else know.

    I finally found the Xbox One customer support number and called. Apparently this is a known problem that started this morning which they are now trying to fix.
