    I'm unsure how many people are aware of this, back in like 2016 times games with gold gave 4 free games a month, 2 xbox one games and two xbox 360 games, these could be played without an active subscription (absolutely) some of these games were bangers, in may 2018 they gave the phantom pain. Assasins creed syndicate is there and weird games like the incredible adventures of van helsing, outlast and the witness.

    At some point in the switchover to gamepass xbox said, these were a rental bro, and they are removed from owned games now in a little games with gold section on your tab, that games with gold section is completely blank unless you have an active gamepass account, im down 81 games because xbox decided to play the semantics in their subscription based services, in this era in 2026 of the xbox ship being somewhat righted, this is about as anti consumer and anti xbox fan as you can get, I genuinely wonder if theres a way to change this, I owned these games, I didnt rent them. Gamepass is renting, im happy to do it, but dont come through my door after ive gave you money and take it back and say I can play if I pay more thats just greed.

    I still haven’t received the Forza horizon 4 code to be able to play despite having purchased the vip pass and having both fortune island and left DLCs.

    The tokens will still work. As you pointed out, they are good through June 25, 2026.

    Same problem here, I have mine up to June 19 2026 with 5x 6 month core, trying the last one to make it up to the max 3 years and it fails. Additional 6 months should take it to Dec 19 2026, three years from today is Dec 21 2026 so it should work. I will keep trying but don’t really want to wait till Jan to upgrade to Ultimate.
