Xbox apps not working including the Report a problem app

    Xbox apps not working including the Report a problem app


    The Microsoft movies and tv app audio is cutting out every few minutes. I've tried every fix I can do involving my console and nothing works to fix it. I've tried to report this to Xbox through the Report a problem app and it isn't working properly either. Every time I attempt to report it just spins, currently spinning for almost 20 minutes. I've Uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. And it continues to just spin. Reddit is my last resort in a vain attempt to report these issues to a living person that's associated with Microsoft and Xbox since the virtual assistant is useless and infuriating.

    Hi Mirko,

    If you have exhausted all troubleshooting steps and nothing seems to work, then I recommend reporting this issue through the Xbox Insider Hub app on your Xbox. You can report the issue to the proper teams and even include video or screenshots of the issue.
    I've personally tried the Blu-ray app on three different Xbox's and they are all working fine so I'm not sure what is going on with the app on your system.

    Hello there, and thanks for being an Xbox Insider on PC! Can you confirm for me that you have the latest updates to the Insiders' version of the Xbox App installed? As in, when you go to the Microsoft Store, there's no additional updates pending for the Xbox app after the beginning of this month?

    So you're aware, this is a known issue that was being investigated in the preview versions of the Xbox app, and the latest updates to the Xbox app for Insiders included some fixes for the problem. If you have the latest updates, and you are still experiencing this problem, it is crucial that as an Insider you submit a bug report through the Xbox app so that our teams can continue to investigate and fix the problem.

    To submit a bug report from the Xbox app:

    1. Select your profile icon
    2. Select Feedback
    3. Select Report a Problem in the prompt that appears
    4. Complete the report in the Feedback Hub app when it's pulled up

    Xbox App crashes on launch on Windows 10

    You can get the beta app by searching "Xbox Beta" in the Windows 10 Store. This app should work until the main app is fixed. I'm not sure what's wrong with the main app, but you're far from the only one reporting issues; the other people having problems
    all reported that the Xbox Beta app worked fine, so use that in the interim.
