Xbox Hybrid Concept pc + Console

They say that all next gen consoles will use hybrid servers! There has not been one thing confirmed for ps4, so going by that statement xbox one will be using hybrid too. Read the article where they announced the hybrid servers. Even we were told at gamescom
that pc would be getting dedicated servers too, but we find out there hybrid too. id like to see how you can spin this around.

They say all pc, current gen and next gen will use these hybrid servers. Technically ps4 dedicated servers havent been announced so going by what the developer said, i think xbox one will be using these hybrid servers!!!

I personally will never understand this concept of people not wanting a PC at all, yet they want the console to do everything a PC does. If a console could do everything a PC does, when does it stop being a console and become a PC?

The halo 5 console will not have a hybrid drive as i have checked on game website and Amazon and no where it says a hybrid drive

Interest read but very invalid. The journalist doesn't see how the graphic engines could improve? They obviously have no Idea what's involved in created a game engine. Real time light blooming, Vertex shaders, full ray tracing, there's a ton of video effects
that the current consols are very weak at right now. Why doesn't Microsoft have it's Flight Simulator on Xbox? Becuase it couldn't handle it. Why don't we have Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, becuase consols cant handle a park with a 1000 peeps calculating direction
for each one and having all your rides running. No consol is strong enough.

There are so many advances on a yearly basis in PC audio and video architechure, that there's no way a consol could keep up. IMO, there very much will be next gen consol and I don't see it dying any time soon. This gets into the same argument on whether
or not the next gen unit will be fully digital. Same responce, it not a well enough established medium to warrant full adoption. Nintendo's reason that the Wii didn't come out HD is becuase they figured that there weren't enough family's that were hooked
up with an HD display yet. And at the time they were correct. HD TV's were in about 2% of American homes at the time. Our society of weak signals and poor bandwiths right now don't warrant a full digital home consol.
