    Disc to Digital Issue, can anyone help?


    I have read that the original Watch Dogs is compatible with Disc to Digital, but I get an error message when I try to redeem the license for the game. It says that the disc can’t be used to claim a digital license.

    Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a fix for it? Am I just shit out of luck? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    This has to do with DRM or digital rights management. If you have the disc this is your proof of ownership. With the disc in their possession anyone can play the game it shows ownership. But only the one person with the disc can play at one time. With
    digital media it is different, the account that purchased the digital media is the owner. In some circumstances (Home Xbox) it can be shared but it can never be transferred to another account. Make sure the disc is a valid working disc for the Xbox one.

    It shouldn’t matter whether anyone got the disc or the digital version. We want what we paid for or start issuing refunds!
