    Microsoft/Xbox account data transfer

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but if it's an official Xbox channel then it is as close as I will get

Microsoft or Xbox needs to add a system to transfer Xbox data to other Microsoft account through a ticket request or something because I cannot stand the idea of spending the rest of my life asking my dad to forward me emails with codes or message me a password when he changes it since he created my Xbox account using his Microsoft account when I was 12 (we did say this was a bad idea but he didn't listen).

It's inconvenient and it will eventually just push people away from playing Xbox in the future and I can't see it being worth the effort in the next few years once I move out it just will not be worth it but I also dont want to have to restart everything again.

They need to make some form of solution and have a better reason that "it's for security" when having an account that is used by one person due to their reflectance to help

how do i change the email to an Xbox account without changing the email on all other things related to mincrosoft

The Xbox account and the Microsoft account are basically one in the same. You cannot seperate them. All of the Xbox purchases and data are forever tied to the Microsoft account and nothing can be transferred to another account.

My Minecraft account is attached to my Microsoft account and it was hacked. The hackers changed all of the security info

I know I'm not getting the account back, but surely there must be a way to just transfer the data to my new Microsoft account right? The account itself is not what matters, it's the data (which includes the account I've had for a decade). Is it possible to get that data transferred to my new account?

    Transferng data using alias

Hi Hugo. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox Communities Forum. Your Xbox profile and data is tied to the Microsoft account it was created for; changing your account's email alias will not affect your Xbox profile or data. It is not possible to transfer this to a different Microsoft account.

Move XBox Live GamerTag to different Microsoft Account

Purchases and game data are linked to your Microsoft account and can't be transferred to a different account.
