    So, I'm not 100% sure if this is the correct place to really talk about this, but there's a feature I've seen people requesting and I think it would benefit Xbox and their players substantially.

    I've been noticing a unique problem with gamepass players leaving reviews on games that they haven't actually played. The most recent example of this is with Gears of War E-day where people are review bombing it over political stance, not the game itself and they're able to do this because they "own" the game through gamepass. I feel that this has exposed a huge issue with the way the review system is working on Xbox and some changes would help both Xbox as a company and help protect gamers from seeing disingenuous or unqualified reviews influencing them with false information.

    I believe that reviews on the Xbox store should display the total playtime that the reviewer has at the time of the review, other platforms, most notably steam, has this and I think it helps potential buyers know they're getting a real review of the game instead of someone that booted it up for 1 second to leave a bad review. Alternatively, another solution could be restricting reviews if they are under a certain play time, like 5 hours or something. Regardless, I think there is a huge issue here that will only get worse with time and hopefully some solutions to this issue are being thought about over at the Xbox team.     Thank you for your contribution to the Microsoft community.

    I understand that you are experiencing an issue with your Xbox Year in Review, where it is showing your dad's played time for games that you have purchased.



    Upon checking, Xbox Year in Review is based on the total playtime of the game on the console, regardless of who played it. This means that if your dad played Tomb Raider on your console, it would show up on your Year in Review as well.



    However, you can filter your Year in Review by game, so you can see the games that you have actually played. To do this, go to the Year in Review website and click on the "Filter by Game" button. From there, you can select the games that you have played and see your stats for those games only.

    It's happening to me too. 3 star or higher reviews stay, 2 star or lower reviews vanish the second I finish typing them. This only started happening around the beginning of april. Check the dates on the 1 star reviews you see in the store. Bet you can't find one from April of this year on game pass games.

    Same thing has been happening to me for the last month. If I leave a 3 star or higher review, the review stays. 2 stars or lower, the review never posts after I finish typing it. This is happening with game pass games in particular. Microsoft trying to hide the fact that all their game pass games averaged together would have a 2 star rating or less if they allowed the ratings to stand.

    Shady, shady, shady. Seriously considering switching to a different console when I finally get around to purchasing the next gen, just can't see myself supporting a company with business practices such as this when I have another option to buy from.

    I cant see Microsoft not showing your review because its a 2 star, ive seen tonnes of 1 and 2 star reviews in my time on Xbox.

    Perhaps its a time thing and it takes a week or so for reviews to go up.
