1440p Remote Play available, but stuck at 1080p streaming

Discus and support 1440p Remote Play available, but stuck at 1080p streaming in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; I see the option for 1440p in the Edge browser and its enabled, but it is still streaming at 1080p.     I see the option for 1440p in the Edge browser and its enabled, but it is still streaming at 1080p. Is there something else I need to enable? The XBOX is set to 4k 120hz . Omega Branch. Tried with and without Clarity Boost, and Better Xcloud. Tried in chrome. All stuck at 1080p.

    Xbox doesn't have a 1440p 60FPS option; can't use 1080p or 1440p HDR on xbox

    I just tried to change it to 1440p 60hz, but it says this resolution isn't supported.

    1080p is available to me in 120hz or in 60hz

    4k is available to me in 120hz or in 60hz

    But,1440p is only available in 120hz?

    Graphics now set to 1080p and capturing at 1080p and it works fine. BUT why have the option to run 1440p if you cant use it. Yet another flop. MICROSOFT make xbox great again. Bring a streaming system

    It depends on what resolution your going to play at and the resolution of the tv,

    if 4K, you need HDMI 2.1 to get 4K at 120hz refresh rate,

    HDMI 2.0 will only allow 4K at 60hz.

    if your at 1080p/1440p, HDMI 2.0 will be ok for 120hz refresh rate, however if it is 1080p/1440p i would recommend getting the Xbox Series S as that is aimed at 1080p/1440p.

    I CAN'T DO STREAMING because of the bad 720p remote play resolution on my pc.

    The only way is hdmi2.1 capture card, I wait it for a long time. Lucky Avermedia and ASUS announced it recently.

    Even I don‘t use wifi，my pc and xbox both use Network cable connect to my router，it also 720p. PS5 remote play is 1080p,xbxplay is a third-party Android remote play app， it have 1080p，but the official not support. What a shame.

    Hi,

    A resolution of 1080P is 1920x1080, while 1440P is 2560x1440. Since your display doesn't support 1440P, the highest resolution would be 1080P.

    To get 1440P would require a PC gaming monitor that supports that resolution.
